Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support a long-term contract opportunity in Hialeah, Florida. This role is well suited for a hands-on, detail-oriented accounting specialist who can bring structure to a complex environment, strengthen daily accounting operations, and improve the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working through reconciliations, resolving legacy balance issues, and helping create a more stable accounting foundation.
Responsibilities:
• Lead month-end close activities, including preparing and reviewing reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Investigate and resolve opening balance discrepancies by analyzing historical accounting records and correcting unsupported amounts.
