The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing complex accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This role partners closely with leadership and may mentor junior accounting staff.
Key Responsibilities
+ Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
+ Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
+ Support month-end and year-end close processes
+ Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and risks
+ Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
+ Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
+ Support internal and external audits
+ Review and improve accounting processes and documentation
