Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support key finance operations in Tennessee. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who can manage core accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to a smooth month-end close process. Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly closing activities by preparing entries, reviewing balances, and helping deliver accurate financial results on schedule.
• Maintain the general ledger by recording and validating financial transactions in accordance with established accounting practices.
• Prepare and post journal entries with strong attention to supporting documentation and account accuracy.
• Perform account reconciliations regularly to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and keep records aligned.
