Senior Advance Quality Engineer Key Responsibilities
Managing the safety reporting scheme and the occurrence reporting system, including initiation and follow-up of internal occurrence investigations.
Coordinating action on airworthiness occurrences and initiating any necessary further investigation and follow-up activity.
Facilitating hazard identification, risk assessment and management.
Monitoring the implementation of actions taken to mitigate risks, as listed in the safety action plan.
Providing periodic reports on safety performance to the safety review board and ensuring the maintenance of safety management documentation.
Ensuring that there is safety training available, and that it meets acceptable standards.
Providing advice on safety matters.
Establishing feedback from maintenance incidents/issues and feeding these back into the recurrent training programme.
Liaising with customers and regulators on quality issues.
