Overview:
THE ROLE:
The Senior Analyst, Cost Accounting will support North America and SAMCAM cost of sales and inventory accounting reporting to the Supervisor, Cost Accounting.
The role will also be involved in periodic management reporting, ad-hoc cost management, and inventory projects.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
- Perform monthly journal entries and other month-end activities for cost accounting close.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly explanations for significant BS and PL fluctuations.
- Manage inventory costing analysis and necessary cost updates.
- Maintain relationship with operations teams to discuss key cost and inventory-related business activities.
- Support requests from Internal & External Auditors.
- Develop ad hoc reporting to enhance cost accounting function.
