**Summary:**In this role, you will provide strategic direction to our provider's medical/surgical portfolio of categories for clinical contracting and sourcing optimization. You will manage and facilitate all sourcing events from RFP processes to contracting. You will also drive system enhancements; proactively recognizing and delivering on new or improved processes and reporting.**Responsibilities:*** Identify cost-savings opportunities and develop a formal work plan for the medical/surgical portfolio of categories.* Partner with the provider and key clinical stakeholders to address best practice opportunities in reducing variation, consolidation, and utilization in clinical practice.* Partner with Vizient GPO to drive contract compliance, tier optimization, and administrative fees.* Conduct the entire RFP process through evaluations, vendor demonstrations/product evaluations and vendor service level assessments.* Build and foster ongoing professional relationships with C-suite...
