Cyber Security EngineerEmergiTEL is hiring a Cyber Security Engineer for our client in the fintech / crypto industry. This is a Permanent role.
Compensation: $108,000 – $135,000 per year. Location: Etobicoke, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week).
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and harden security infrastructure across an AWS-based cloud environment.
Build and improve vulnerability management and reporting processes for infrastructure and applications.
Lead and coordinate security incident response, including investigation, remediation, and post‑mortems.
Implement and manage SIEM, monitoring, alerting, and detection capabilities.
Partner with engineering teams to design and maintain secure systems and development practices.
Develop automation and tooling to improve security operations and reduce manual effort.
Evaluate and strengthen IAM policies, access controls, and cloud security configurations.
