Job Description
Plan, organize, and direct a multi-functional engineering department to meet company objectives. Develop and maintain processes and methods for architecture development & documentation, system design & documentation, and requirements engineering.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Leadership and Management Responsibilities- Recruitment and Retention:
- Recruit, interview, and hire team members for engineering staff.
- Communicate criteria to recruiters for Design Engineering position candidates.
- Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved; make improvements.
- Employee and Team Development:
- Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis.
