**Description**
This position is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys hands-on field work, developing utility design solutions, and mentoring junior team members. This is a non-Engineer fielding and design role requiring periodic travel to client sites to gather pole data, inspect infrastructure, and ensure design accuracy.
**What You'll Do**
+ Perform field visits to collect data on utility poles and electrical infrastructure, ensuring accuracy for design packages.
+ Design overhead and underground electric distribution systems, preparing construction drawings, bills of materials, and documentation.
+ Provide calculations such as pole loading, voltage drop, easement validation, permitting requirements, and cost estimating.
+ Conduct pole analysis modeling, develop materials lists, perform GIS reviews, and prepare or update design prints.
