Description We are looking for an experienced Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our team in Gardena, California. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position within a mission-driven non-profit organization that serves the South Los Angeles community. Responsibilities:
• Prepare and record journal entries for month-end close activities, including expense accruals, prepaid expenses, and deferred revenue.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Post payroll journal entries, including semi-monthly payroll, monthly accruals, and tax-related entries.
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
