About the Job Sr. Imaging Technician
The specifications for the Imaging Equipment Technician, Senior Level position are as follows:
To perform repair, overhaul and inspection of imaging equipment.
a. Education and/or Experience
Must have five to eight years experience in servicing imaging equipment.
Must have two additional modalities of specialty e.g.. Mammography, CT Ultrasound, Bone Densitometers, CR or DR systems, Dicom, Pacs, MR, Linear accelerators.
Prior experience supervising a group of technicians responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing most radiographic equipment commonly found in health care institutions is desirable.
Must be familiar with the management of hospital technologies.
