Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Partner with R&D, engineering, and program management teams to understand product requirements and BOM changes.
- Execute sourcing strategies for new components and materials aligned with NPI timelines.
- Act as the procurement lead in NPI project meetings, providing updates on sourcing status, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with quality and manufacturing teams to ensure supplier readiness and compliance.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through early supplier involvement and design-to-cost strategies.
- Assess and mitigate supply risks related to new technologies, sole sourcing, or long lead‑time items.
- Support make‑vs‑buy decisions and localization strategies where applicable.
