BASIC FUNCTION
Specific Responsibilities
- Executes complex engineering projects involving development of new products and changes to existing products including specification, concept, design, qualification, and verification of products and sub-assemblies.
- Creates and maintains product specifications to meet Kohler and regulatory requirements.
- Applies standard engineering tools such as CAD (CREO), Bills of Materials (SAP), GD&T, DFMEA and FEA.
- Uses engineering tools to ensure robust design of products that meet market needs, cost targets, margin goals, code requirements.
- Coordinates engineering activities with other functional areas, remote plants, suppliers, and contractors. Actively and effectively supports local plant activities.
