Role: Performs work up to and including journey level trades work in constructing, maintaining and repairing building plumbing systems and components. Acts in a leadership role in installation, maintenance, repair, and construction projects, and participates as part of a maintenance team responsible for the operation and maintenance of all facilities operated by the Strait Regional Centre for Education.
Responsibilities:
- Builds, repairs, maintains, and installs plumbing systems including but not limited to water, wastewater, and hydronic in accordance with established practices and standards;
- Assists in the planning and coordination of building or capital improvement projects, determining material quantities and potential work time for proposed upgrades, installations, repairs, and projects to ensure accurate estimating of costs and schedules; ...
