Staff Accountant – Accounts Payable

System One is seeking a Staff Accountant – Accounts Payable to support a fast-paced, high-volume accounting environment. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounts payable processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of financial transactions.

Responsibilities

+ Own full-cycle accounts payable including tracking, coding, approvals, and payments

+ Review invoices against purchase orders and supporting documentation

+ Process invoices in ERP system (Oracle or similar), ensuring accurate matching and documentation

+ Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

+ Partner with procurement and internal teams to obtain approvals and resolve discrepancies

+ Identify unallowable costs in accordance with government regulations and contract terms
