Job Description
The Junior Accountant will provide accounting and bookkeeping support to the client, working closely with the Senior Accountant. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day transactional accounting work while the Senior Accountant provides higher-level guidance and oversight.
This is an entry-level accounting role that will work closely with the more experienced Senior Accountant to support the client's accounting and finance needs. The Junior Accountant will have the opportunity to learn and grow their skills under the guidance of the Senior Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, bankreconciliations, and month-end close procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the client's accounting system (e.g.QuickBooks, Workday)
