Job Description
Staff Accountant responsible to maintain ledgers, prepare reports, and day-to-day accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
Role and Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and reconcile monthly Commissions payments, and generate reports for agents and agencies.
+ Act as Accounts Payable backup responsible for prepare and process weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers), maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
+ Assist Senior Accountants with the day-to-day, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting Department.
+ Reconciles AP report discrepancies and problems.
+ Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
+ Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills.
+ Maintain documentation and accounting records.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
