Our client in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Staff Accountant to support their accounting team. This role is ideal for an organized professional with strong analytical skills and hands-on accounting experience who can step in quickly and contribute to day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and maintain journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and account analysis
+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
+ Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
+ Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
+ Help prepare financial reports and schedules
+ Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures
+ Assist with audit support and other ad hoc accounting projects
