Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and contributing to a smooth month-end close process. The ideal candidate brings solid experience across payables, receivables, reconciliations, and journal entries, along with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and processed on schedule.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation and investigate variances or exceptions as needed.
• Record customer payments, complete cash postings, and reconcile banking activity to maintain accurate cash balances.
