The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the organization’s accounting operations, including maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. This role will help ensure the accuracy of financial records by performing account reconciliations, analyzing financial data, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. In addition, the Staff Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to support efficient accounting processes and maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization.
- Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
- Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
