We are redefining the traditional DBA role into a modern Data Platform Engineering function, focused on automation, reliability, cloud-native operations, and scalable patterns for database infrastructure across the company. Our team partners with multiple product and platform squads to provide a robust database platform on AWS, primarily using RDS with PostgreSQL, while also supporting Oracle and SQL Server workloads.
We also lead strategic initiatives such as migrating mainframe DB2 (z/OS) workloads to AWS using AWS DMS, implementing Infrastructure as Code, enhancing observability, and creating automation and AI-driven workflows....
