The ideal candidate will be responsible for the draughting team with the UK office and be the point of contact for all product definition queries. The candidate will produce the most challenging drawings e.g. blades, blisks, ring‑strut‑rings and act as a checker for the drawings produced by the draughting team.
Responsibilities
- Create and revise detailed engineering drawings for turbomachinery components for the most complex gas turbine components and perform a checking role for the UK office.
- Collaborate closely with design engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant aerospace regulations, standards, and quality control procedures and implement these standards to all FTTUK drawings.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to more junior draughtspeople within the team.
