Synaptics is looking for a Staff ESD engineer to join our dynamic and growing organization.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing measures to prevent and mitigate electrostatic discharge events in electronic systems and components.
This position reports to the Senior ESD Manager.
Job Duties
- Provide ESD design guidelines for new chip and revision
- Establish ESD/LU test plan and lead ESD testing for products
- Perform chip level ESD review and simulation
- Develop new ESD cells to meet chip ESD specification
- Collaborate with foundry/EDA vendor for ESD requirement
- ESD/EOS failure analysis and solution
