Key Responsibilities
Government & Regulatory Liaison
Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Govt departments like FSSAI, Food Safety Dept.
municipal authorities, Pollution Control Board, Fire Safety and other relevant regulatory bodies.
Knowledge of the structure of FSSAI & Food Safety dept.
Coordinate approvals, registrations, and permissions required for UCO collection and handling.
Represent ECOIL in meetings, audits, and inspections related to the initiative.
UCO Collection Program Support
Work with FSSAI & Food Safety dept. and other authorities to promote and enforce the ECoil’s
initiative among restaurant and hotel partners & Policy level changes
Support the implementation of Used Cooking Oil collection processes at partner locations.
Ensure partner compliance with food safety and waste management guidelines.
