Job Responsibilities
- Assist radiologists during diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures (e.g., fluoroscopy, angiography, biopsies, drainage, and contrast studies), ensuring patient safety, aseptic practice, smooth workflow, and effective clinical coordination with radiographers.
- Assess, prepare, and support patients before imaging procedures through comprehensive history‑taking, vital signs assessment, allergy screening, IV cannulation, medication and contrast preparation, ensuring informed consent, and clear patient education.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, including sedation and contrast reaction surveillance, post‑procedure recovery, escalation of concerns to clinicians, and initiation of emergency response when required.
