Job Description
Certified Police Officer
The Meskwaki Nation Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Certified Police Officer. We are seeking problem-solving and community-oriented individuals willing to perform diverse tasks. We enforce state, local, federal, and tribal law. Within the first 2 years of employment, you will be certified as a federal law enforcement officer through the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) and receive a Special Law Enforcement Commission.
The Meskwaki Nation Police Department offers:
~$5,000 sign on bonus for non-certified applicants
~$10,000 sign on bonus for certified applicants
~ Take home car if you live within 30 minutes of the police department
~Personal day(s) upon hire
~ 13 paid holidays *
