Job Description
What the role is:
As an international accounts statistician, you will be part of a team responsible in producing key economic statistics and data insights pertaining to Singapore’s economic transactions with other countries and economies.
What you will be working on:- You will be involved in collecting, managing, analysing and making sense of large amounts of data from various sources as well as refining and optimising statistical processes.
- You will also be involved in the compilation, analysis and dissemination of economic statistics such as the International Investment Position (IIP) and Gross External Debt.
- You will conduct research and analysis that span a wide range of data science, economics and statistical areas to develop new globally comparable indicators, enhance compilation methodologies and improve data acquisition and processing methods.
