Job Description
Steel Erector Helper, construction Salary:
$30.00 per hour, full time, permanent, regular, 30-40 hours per week
Requirements
Some experience in general construction environment (1–7 months)
Willing to work at various job sites outdoors, at heights, in summer and winter, high‑rise building construction sites, physically demanding
Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand‑eye coordination
Weight handling more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
Ability to measure in metric system
Able to read drawings at a basic level and write basic reports for daily work performance
Personal suitability: accurate, dependable, flexible, reliable, team player, hardworking
Equipment and machinery experience or willingness to train: concrete saw, large impact drills, hand drills for concrete and steel, magnetic drills, small coring machine, grinding tools for steel and concrete
Clean driver licence record is an asset
