Job Description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide expert nursing care in a progressive, cardiac-focused stepdown unit, delivering compassionate support to patients with complex heart, lung, and vascular conditions as they recover from critical illness or surgery. This contract opportunity offers 13 to 26 weeks of fulfilling, hands-on patient care, working with dedicated colleagues in a supportive environment.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts with 36 hours per week guaranteed (option for 48 per week upon request)
- Expectation to work every other weekend (full Saturday and Sunday shifts)
- Participation in at least one major winter holiday shift
- Up to 5 days off per 13-week contract can be pre-approved
