Summary:
This Job is responsible for the administration of sterile processing including: quality of decontamination, cleaning, sterilization of surgical instruments, reprocessable equipment, equipment, Endo-scopes and supplies for the Perioperative Dept. The Job also responsible for the functional coordination of the dept. within and with outside other depts./resources.
Responsibilities:
Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. Acts as liaison between SPD, Perioperative Services, Labor and Delivery, and Nursing Units. Provide input on PAR level adds, changes, and deletions. Take physical inventories, on a periodic basis, of Floor Stock and SPD to ensure accuracy and integrity of the system.
