Job Description
As Steward you must adhere to hotel specifications and standards in operating the dishwashing machine to wash designated restaurant and kitchen wares clean and maintain equipment and dishwashing/kitchen/cafeteria/compactor and storage areas. You will further assist in washing pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils. While doing so you will actively support the kitchen team by providing clean equipment and complete other special cleaning projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training
- Must have worked at least a year as a Steward in Hotels and Restaurants
- Perform duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and follow-through
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling
- Strongly committed to teamwork and customer service
- Eyes for details to achieve operation excellence
