Function Pharmacy Facility Position Stock Controller | Pharmacy | Fixed term Contract Introduction

A vacancy exists for a Stock Controller(fixed term contract) at Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital, reporting to Casilia Moodley, the Inventory Manager. The successful candidate will contribute to the effective functioning of this unit.

Critical Outputs
  • Assisting with the procurement of surgical stock and special orders

  • Follow up on open orders and backorders

  • Managing Inter Hospital sales and orders, including excess stock advertising and procurement.

  • Monitoring negative stock and item valuation reports and driving dead stock reduction initiatives.

  • Supporting wards with stock-related queries and system maintenance.

  • Reporting stock-related issues and implementing corrective action plans.
