A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Stockperson to join our team at Strawfrank Pedigrees. This role focuses on the daily care and management of our pedigree Limousin herd and our small flock of pedigree Texel sheep.
We are looking for a passionate individual with an eye for quality and a commitment to high standards of livestock husbandry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on, day-to-day management of both the pedigree Limousin herd and Texel flock.
- Assisting with calving, lambing, breeding programmes, and herd/flock health planning.
- Managing feeding regimes, forage utilisation, and grassland management to peak standards.
- Preparing and presenting livestock for sales and shows to showcase pedigree quality.
