Performance Optimization: Tuning Ceph for optimal block, object, and file system storage performance based on workload needs. Monitoring and Maintenance: Proactively monitoring cluster health, performance, and capacity, using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or the Ceph Dashboard. Troubleshooting: Resolving complex storage incidents, such as PG (Placement Group) inconsistencies, OSD failures, and data rebalancing issues. Data Protection: Implementing storage policies for data replication, erasure coding, and snapshot management.
