Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Storage
Shall minimally perform the following administration activities for storage and automate them to the extent possible:
(a) Storage Area Network
(b) Provide Installation, administration and maintenance support for Storage Area Network and Enterprise Backup.
(c) Health check and monitoring of the storage devices.
(d) Integrate the storage solution’s hardware and software into the customer’s operating environment and ensure full interoperability.
(e) Regularly update the firmware
(f) Ensure comprehensive documentation of the storage solution is in place.
(g) Prepare test plan in consultation with the customer to ensure the solution can function fully.
Enterprise Backup
(a) Administration and management of Symantec backup environment.
(b) Backup job configuration and scheduling.
(c) Backup server performance tuning.
