Stormwater and Drainage Engineer
Responsible for the planning design and management of stormwater and drainage systems to ensure effective water runoff control flood prevention and regulatory compliance in infrastructure and land development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analysis: Conduct stormwater modeling runoff calculations and flood risk assessments.
- System Design: Design stormwater management systems including culverts detention/retention basins swales storm sewers and outfall structures.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs meet local regional and national stormwater regulations and environmental standards.
- Erosion and Sediment Control: Develop and review erosion control plans for construction sites.
