We are on the lookout for a reliable and safety-focused Straddle Operator to join our Distribution Centre team. If you enjoy operating heavy machinery, working in a fast-paced environment, and playing a critical role in keeping freight moving, this could be the role for you.
As a Straddle Operator, you will be responsible for safely moving containers and freight around the yard, supporting inbound and outbound operations, and ensuring stock is positioned efficiently for the wider DC team.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Operating a straddle carrier to move containers safely and efficiently across the yard
- Loading, unloading, and stacking containers in designated areas
- Supporting the flow of goods between the yard and distribution centre operations
