Strategic Planner
Position Duties:
Serves as a Strategic Planner in the War Plan and Strategy Division, HQ Army Materiel Command (AMC) focusing on future operational, contingency, functional and supporting plans in support of combatant commands (COCOM) throughout the planning process. Responsible for managing a broad range of support and sustainment options while developing complex and detailed products that support the overall Theater Campaign Plan as directed by DoD and HQDA. In-depth knowledge of AMC mission responsibilities and the wide-range of subordinate command capabilities is critical for researching, providing analytical impacts and efforts, upon which command-wide programs, policies, procedures will be predicated.
