Job Description
**Position Purpose:**
The Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) is accountable for developing and executing sourcing strategies supporting US stores for necessary supplies and services. This role reports to THD's Indirect Procurement Team, based in Atlanta, GA. The role will be responsible for establishing and implementing Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) sourcing initiatives and activities in collaboration with functional and business leaders at THD. The ideal candidate has led sourcing initiatives and negotiations across MRO categories.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ 25% Negotiate for products and services within the assigned product category ensuring the lowest possible price.
+ 25% Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to assigned categories. Work cross functionally to improve and streamline processes.
+ Initiate quality vendor relationships to support new and ongoing product and services sourcing needs.
