Job Description
Job Title: Structural Engineer I — Location: Sorocaba, Brazil — Reporting to: Director of Civil - Geotechnical Engineering — Work type: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote)
Responsibilities
- Produce civil and structural design documentation, including drawings and calculations.
- Support the project development phase by reviewing site information, performing calculations, and contributing to cost estimations.
- Perform structural analyses for wind, seismic, and foundation loads, and prepare corresponding calculations and reports; sign or seal documents if required.
- Provide construction phase support by responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Nextpower products to support engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with structural, geotechnical, and civil engineers across regions to maintain and update standards, specifications, templates, and design tools.
