Carlson Design Group is seeking a highly talented Structural Engineer I to join our engineering team as part of our expanding business. Carlson’s market focus includes Mission Critical, Light Industrial, and Commercial sectors.
Location: Atlanta, GA, and includes some travel
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities include:
+ Lead development of design solutions on projects of limited complexity
+ Prepare structural analyses and perform engineering calculations
+ Support the Structural Team Lead on sophisticated projects
+ Prepare schematic designs, Construction Documents, and specifications
+ Ensure completeness and accuracy of Construction Documents
+ Coordinate with other disciplines
+ Review shop drawings and submittals
+ Conduct field inspections and condition assessments
+ Prepare technical reports
