We at the Visual Computing & AI Lab are building a large-scale dataset of human heads captured using our custom light-stage setup. This dataset will enable the development of the next generation of photorealistic avatars. Therefore, we’re looking for a highly motivated student to help design a capture script, organize and conduct scanning sessions, and develop data processing pipelines.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Design a script for the capture sessions that participants follow.
- Organize scanning sessions (advertisement, appointments, participation agreements)
- Conduct scanning sessions (introduce and guide participants through the capture process and ensure high-quality scans)
