Student Support Mentor
College location: East Surrey College/John Ruskin College
Salary: £31,094 per annum full time equivalent (pro rata, term-time only + 3 weeks)
Hours: Monday and Friday - 8:45 am to 5:00 pm
Do you have the experience to establish positive relationships with students through engagement and interaction, increasing skills and confidence and helping them to develop positive attitudes and behaviours that prepare them for independence , future studies and employment ? If yes, we would like to hear from you.
You’ll be playing a key role in engaging and interacting with students around the campus, ensuring social spaces, corridors and communal areas are safe and welcoming, and that students maintain good standards of behaviour. You will work collaboratively with staff across the college to identify and support students at risk through targeted mentoring interventions.
