Summary:
Under direction supervision, assist in the evaluation of patient status and provides basic bedside respiratory care (determined prior to hire in the organization – subject to change as skill levels increase.)
Responsibilities:
Under direction supervision, assist in the evaluation of patient status and provides basic bedside respiratory care (determined prior to hire in the organization – subject to change as skill levels increase). Displays abilities to perform specific procedures associated with respiratory therapy to the patient following a prescribed treatment plan by the physician and company policies and procedures. Performs patient/family education and maintains all necessary related documentation.
