Job Description
The district has continuous recruitment for substitute bus aides.
GENERAL DUTIES:
+ Assist children on and off bus
+ Be able to operate special equipment on the bus
+ Assist bus driver when backing.
+ Assist bus driver during emergencies
+ Deliver students to and from bus
Job Qualifications
+ Good knowledge of the bus route and stops
+ Dependability
+ Ability to deal effectively with children
+ Good physical condition
+ Attendance at any New York State mandated courses
+ Some knowledge of first aid
