SUBSTITUTE REGISTERED NURSE: 10-Month School Calendar Position
RN positions involve caring for the medical needs of students placed in BOCES classrooms which are located in a Special Education Host Site program. Assistance with all medical aspects of the students’ day is expected.
+ Plans for periodic examinations and screening procedures as required by State Law and Board of Education Policy.
+ Assists the School Physician with physical, visual, audio screening examinations of students and employees.
+ Administers first aid and emergency treatment to students and employees.
+ Performs medical procedures prescribed by doctors for students .
