Job Description
The Bakery Supervisor oversees daily bakery operations, including production, merchandising, staff supervision, and customer service. They ensure baked goods are produced to company standards, displayed attractively, and delivered fresh to customers while maintaining compliance with food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Production Oversight
- Supervise preparation and baking of bread, pastries, and other baked goods.
- Ensure recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards are consistently followed.
- Monitor production schedules to meet customer demand and minimize waste.
Inventory & Ordering
- Manage raw material inventory (flour, yeast, sugar, etc.).
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
- Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices to maintain freshness.
