As the Supervisor Data Manager within Avionics Squadron, you will be responsible for delivering aeronautical database management for NZDF aircraft, including navigation and terrain awareness databases.
This is a critical role that ensures aircraft systems operate with accurate, compliant, and up-to-date data, directly contributing to operational effectiveness and airworthiness.
In this role, you will:
* Act as the NZDF Subject Matter Expert for aeronautical databases.
* Manage, configure, and distribute mission-critical aviation data.
* Maintain strict configuration control aligned with RNZAF policy and DO-200 standards.
* Provide technical advice on airworthiness, policy, and data management practices.
* Support avionics maintenance activities, including diagnostics, repair, and testing.
