Overview
Supervises and coordinates activities of a group of clinical staff (LPN, Medical Assistant, and other clinical staff as appropriate). Provides administrative support in planning and maintaining day-to-day activities and projects. Provides general nursing care to patients within scope of licensure.
Responsibilities
* Monitors patient flow to ensure efficient use of schedules and rooming of patients.
* Writes annual performance appraisals and conducts appraisal meetings.
* Ensures adherence to all standards, procedures and protocols.
* Encourages, supports, and provides educational opportunities for employees’ development.
* Assists in coordinating the daily operations of the practice.
* Ensures staffing, space, furniture and equipment/supply needs of the office are met.
* Analyzes work flows to ensure maximum staff utilization. Works to create a positive and harmonious working environment.
