PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform the role of a Supervisor within the mineralogy division, sample preparation. The responsibilities and authorities of the technician in the mineralogy division in relation to post requirements are outlined.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for planning and execution of work as discussed with the Mineralogy Manager and HODPerform routine and non-routine tests following established procedures and/or modify procedures to accomplish the assigned tasks.Routinely provide training to existing technicians/operators, new technicians/operators and temporary workers.Complete tasks within the allocated time and plan work for technicians and operators to ensure that the overall service goals of the company are met.Responsible for reporting any infringements or non–compliances by any other laboratory staff member with respect to allocated work, punctuali...
